Google Releases Freshness Update SEO Nov 2011

It appears that Google is moving towards a "Live Search" algorithm. Date seems to be the most important factor in this release and effects 35% of searches.

After watching this video and trying to understand this release, I conclude that updating article blogs and probably resubmitting XML sitemaps would be beneficial. This happens to be a great opportunity for websites that put in the effort of updating their website. It's more clear than ever that google wants to move to a "Live Search" system. As far as the aged sites goes they will suffer if their information is dated and not kept up. Losing SERP is probably going to shake up quite a few website owners. Lets wait and see...
